Easy Online Application

Applying for incentives is quick and easy using the CEMS Online Application. Before you begin, please review the information needed to complete an application submission.

All Applications

  • SDG&E® business account number and name, as it appears on your electric and/or gas bill
  • Federal tax status (Corp, LLC, etc.), legal business name and Employer Identification Number

  • Tax Exempt Certificate (if applicable for payee)

  • Manufacturer specification sheet(s) – with wattage and/or technical information

  • Qualifying lighting projects submitted through the CEMS program may need to be DLC listed at the time the application is submitted. Reach out to the CEMS program to confirm project requirements.

Fast-Track Projects

Fast-Track projects do not require pre-approval if all equipment is listed on the Fast-Track list.
  • Final Invoice(s) or itemized receipt of purchase

  • Submit to the CEMS program within 90 days of the project’s installation date or before November 15 of that program year, whichever is sooner

Custom Projects

The CEMS program must pre-approve projects that include equipment not listed in the Fast-Track list before the purchase or installation of products or equipment.
  • Scope of work (SOW)
  • Calculations (if applicable)
  • Quotes
  • Photos of existing equipment
